From Who's Who on the Screen (1920)

Mary Anderson, popular Willat player, was born in Brooklyn, N. Y, June 28th, 1907 and was educated at Erasmus Hall High School in the same city. Miss Anderson also attended Holy Cross School and made her first appearance in public as a Grecian dancer at charity functions. Miss Anderson has been seen in many famous productions since the day she first made her bow on the silversheet for the Vitagraph Company. She has probably done her best work in Irvin W. Willat's feature production, "False Faces," for Ince-Paramount release. Miss Anderson has also made her own production, "Bobbles," which has had a splendid reception by the public. She is four feet eleven inches high, weighs one hundred and five pounds, has golden hair and blue eyes, and is an expert swimmer.
