| RUTH CLIFFORD, when just a high school girl in Rhode Island, had a tryout
in pictures. Later her family went to California and she continued to work
in pictures. She made her debut as a leading woman in Universal pictures.
Some of the pictures in which she appeared are "Daughters of the Rich,"
"Abraham Lincoln," and "Ponjola." She was born in Pawtucket,
R. I., February 17, 1900, and educated at St. Mary's Seminary, Bayview,
R. I. She is five feet, four and one-half inches tall, weighs 124 pounds,
and has blonde hair and blue eyes. |
