MADELINE HURLOCK

From Famous Film Folk (1925)

MADELINE HURLOCK, the daughter of an English father and an Italian mother, was born in Maryland, and received her early education there. After completing her studies in Philadelphia, she joined a local stock company playing in the Little Theatre of that city. From Philadelphia, she came to New York for a full season on the Century Roof. Like so many other musical comedy girls, she caught the eye of Mack Sennett, who engaged her at once for a series of comedies. Her screen debut was so satisfactory that she has appeared in many pictures the comedy genius has made. Miss Hurlock is a lover of music, being a regular attendant at the Philharmonic concerts in the Hollywood Bowl. She is 5 feet 3 1/2 inches tall, weighs 120 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes.
